After nearly 50 years, Dick Polak’s photographic archive has finally been unearthed. Thousands of images offering an intimate glimpse into the lives of some of the most iconic movers & shakers from the 1960s & 1970s have been found, many of which have never been seen before.

The Photographer

Dick Polak grew up in Amsterdam where he worked in the Dutch film industry for several years before moving to the UK in 1966. Becoming heavily involved in London’s ‘Happening’ scene during the Swinging Sixties, Dick would go on to document some of the most prominent figures of the time.
